BulSUans personally share reflections on the interactive bulletin boards.

In observance of World Mental Health Day, Bulacan State University conducted an interactive event with the theme “Access to Services – Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies," on Friday, October 10, at the BulSU Heroes Park.

Aimed to bolster advocates for mental health and strengthen emotional resilience of the students, the event, through the Guidance and Counseling Services Center under the Office of the Dean for Student Affairs and Services, was celebrated with the slogan "HIRAYA: Pagsikhay sa Matatag na Isip at Kaginhawaan."

Among the creative activities were Origami Making, coloring and doodles, and the suicide prevention awareness booth, which were all intended for the participants for self-expression and reflection within the community.

The students’ self-expression and reflection were highlighted through interactive boards such as “Reasons to love life,” “What to say to someone who is struggling,” and “Things you do when you feel down."

These activities stand as reminders of the importance of hope, compassion, and the necessity of reaching out.

The university continued to remind everyone that mental health is just as important as physical health, and that asking for help is a brave and powerful step toward healing.
